Anyone who says their commander or any other officer who cares about his career publicly applauds street racing is mistaken. They might as well applaud fascist islam or homosexuality. On the ops side, disregarding safety is as serious as offense as intentionally causing harm. I personally know pilots who no longer have jobs from blowing it off.
